September 8-9, 2009 Campout at Champoeg State Park, OR |
 |
|
Start with good friends, add a beautiful park, and perfect weather and you have our campout at Champoeg State Park. Tuesday evening, September 8th, we spent visiting and enjoying a campfire. Wednesday morning we attempted to play disc golf, however, we’re not quite ready for the professional tour! After a tour of the park and a visit to the museum we had a few hours to rest, ride bikes, or whatever.
Tuesday evening the excellent cooks of the group provided a tasty potluck dinner followed by a movie.
Wednesday morning started with a potluck breakfast and a decision to come back next year to this park.
Attending were: Hosts - Russ and Rita Pinard, Jan and Linda Burchard, Cliff and Christa Maier, Ken and Linda Parker, Walt and Sheila Tomschin and Tony and Marian White.
